class 10.3.14

Class began today with  a clip from the television  series " the news room". The part about how "America is not the greatest country, but it can be"  really stuck in my mind. Our lives seem great in the us, but we aren't the best country to live in. For example, we do not have the greatest  public education. When I gt home, I did some research on this topic. Finland and Japan have h best education. America is ranked around 15. After  the clip, we had a debate that evolved into America's independence. A small percentage of the class believed that Americans should remain independent, while a larger percentage of the class thought it would be easier to trade, make allies, and help other countries.
